Before today I didn’t really realize how distinctly easy it is to dress up for a particular season. I mean if you think about it, there has always been a clear demarcation where summer always equates to white cottons and beige linens, with winters equating to darker hues, and knitted cardigans.

While the climate goes through this cycle every year – at this very moment though – given the erratic nature of the temperature outside I can veritably say we are in a phase of transitional weather.

The Golden Globes Red Carpet was a Melting Pot of all the 2019 Style Trends

On the evening of Jan 5th, a slew of Hollywood celebrities walked down the red carpet of The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles for one of the most anticipated nights of 2020: the 77th Golden Globe Awards.

From its inception in 1944 the Golden Globes aimed to honor the best entertainers in the film industry for their achievements in various aspects of filmmaking. My Eternal Source of Inspiration

What style means to me..

When I was 4, I remember my mother wearing a black wrap, full length jumpsuit for an award function. When I was 9, I remember her suiting up in a white shirt for a work meeting. At 13, when she changed careers and started selling art, I remember her putting on a flowery embroidered kimono, while sipping wine during an art opening. When I turned 18, she wore a black dress for my birthday dinner and sometime during this year, she held up some red velvet fabric and excitedly said, ‘I’m going to make this into a sari!’
